Rally Car Paint Scheme Design by SMD Featured on Eurotrash Motorsports Website

Eurotrash Motorsports has partnered with the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO) in an effort to raise funds for the foundation through our participation in the largest performance rally competition in North America – Targa Newfoundland with a rally car paint scheme designed by Shawn Magee Design (SMD).

We are extremely lucky to live in such an amazing community. We have already received tremendous support from a number of local businesses. Targa Newfoundland provides us with a unique opportunity to support a fantastic organization, while doing something we love.

Emil Poliakov – Team Manager

In 2011, Eurotrash Motorsports has made The CHEO Foundation their charity of choice.

We want to thank Emil for his dedication to the kids at CHEO. It’s this kind of charity support that helps the doctors, nurses and staff make a difference in the lives of our children and youth.

Carmen Wynn – Special Events Manager with The CHEO Foundation.

The Foundation raises funds to help support the work of CHEO and provide a wide variety of pediatric programs, research, state-of the art equipment, medical and nursing education, and assistance for families in crisis. Each year, the Foundation holds events like the CHEO Telethon on CTV, the CN Cycle, the Dream of a Lifetime Lottery and the Ottawa Hospital and CHEO Lottery, which provides important financial support to CHEO. Community organizers support CHEO through more than 200 events each year, ranging from corporate and private dances, barbecues, and sports tournaments.

Eurotrash Motorsports has entered a rally prepared car in the 10th anniversary of one of the largest motorsports events in North America – Targa Newfoundland. Over nine years after its creation, Targa Newfoundland remains one of only three Targa events worldwide. The Targa Newfoundland event attracts approximately 200 competitors each year from countries as far away as the Turks & Caicos and Australia. The event annually engages over 2000 volunteers in 70 communities and generates an average of $16 million per year (directly and indirectly) for the provincial economy. Since 2005, Targa Newfoundland has also raised $160,000 for its official charity of choice, Easter Seals. In 2010, Targa Newfoundland named Autism Society of Newfoundland and Labrador the official charity of choice.
